With the latest update in the HiRoad app, we took feedback from our current customers and made some tweaks to our insurance app. It now gives you a better experience that can help you feel more recognized and rewarded every month.

What are the HiRoad app updates?

Whether you're a longtime HiRoader or thinking about becoming a customer of HiRoad, you’ll want to know a thing or two about how these key updates relate to your experience as a HiRoad customer. 

The updates’ purpose was to align with our model of rewarding customers for good habits and behaviors from behind the wheel, but also make it unique to who we are as an insurance company.

With up-to-the-trip numbers and up-to-date trends on your driving, you can see what your current discount is in the HiRoad app. This “live” look at your current discount, found on the home screen, can give you a glimpse of what to expect on your upcoming bill.

Lifetime savings

In the HiRoad app, you’re now able to see how much you’ve saved as a dedicated HiRoad driver. Your lifetime savings is the ultimate motivator to continue driving mindfully from behind the wheel.

Driving scores

Finding your driving scores is easier than ever in the new HiRoad app update. Get up-to-date stats on the progress you’re making as it relates to our four core driving scores of Distraction Free, Smooth Driving, Driving Patterns and Safe Speeds. Plus, get a live comparison of last month’s scores and see which areas you can improve.

Loads of tips

If your HiRoad driving scores aren’t what you want them to be, and you’re at a loss of how you can improve them—we have something that may help. In the HiRoad app, you will now find tips from our team on how to improve driving habits.

Driving trends

Get a snapshot of your driving trends in the HiRoad app by seeing a history of the trips you’ve taken and the miles you’ve put behind the wheel. It’s good to see where you’ve been and where you’re headed.

Notifications

To make alerts clear and timely, the HiRoad app notifications are color-coded for you. This makes it easier to see when something needs your attention to help avoid surprises and keep you in the know.

Once you get a quote and have a policy, you can install the HiRoad app (available on iOS and Android) and set up your account.
